Sjoerd van der Helm has established Made Sustained and Re-Sack to help reduce waste, protect the environment, and make the environment more environmentally friendly. In Los Angeles, he noticed that in 2010, the government had banned the distribution of plastic bags of fruit and vegetables, which are commonplace throughout Europe.
