Sjoerd van der Helm has established Made Sustained and Re-Sack to help reduce waste, protect the environment, and make the environment more environmentally friendly. In Los Angeles, he noticed that in 2010, the government had banned the distribution of plastic bags of fruit and vegetables, which are commonplace throughout Europe. He therefore decided to create Made Sustained and Re-sack brands and distribute products that reduce waste - thermos, bottles, reusable snack bags, lunch and recyclable sachets that are made of organic cotton and playfully replace hundreds of disposable ones.
